Happy Birthday Tree

Letting the air blow up our dresses, or flashing dudes on 80 to get our toll paid on the bridge on our way to Clearlake, we have shared some of the absolute BEST TIMES!

So I thought about posting some really cute pics of us...... But that would require me getting my butt way up in the garage somewhere to actually find them. Yes, I know where they are but it would require a ladder and being up there in a zillion degree heat to find the perfect ones. Oh yeah, they are all perfect! Why are they up there? Tria and I are so old that all the pics of us as little girls are actual film pictures, YIKES! Where did the time go? Next year it should be easier because I bought this really cool, totally awesome gadget to convert all my pics to digital.

Back to Tria... I hope you have a wonderful birthday, wish we were in Clearlake celebrating with ya. Get fried for me, ski so fast that you can imagine me floating next to you as we double ski and I am gliding above the water til I eat it so bad I am scared to get back out there! Laugh so hard you pee your new silky blue panties (oh yeah that was me LOL)! Go buy a Tiger Beat or Bop magazine and write to the coolest "IT" boys and then think of me laying down next to you looking at you upside down. Are you smiling yet? I am actually laughing.

Thank you for always being there, I cannot remember a single time you weren't! So many "firsts", my car accident (Tria visited me in the hospital every day for almost 3 weeks, and is the bomb for shaving my legs when I couldn't), everyday that we spent together as nannies, pregnancyX4, and all 4 kids. Thanks for everything!

Happy Birthday from all of us.. We luv ya tons

Soo funny! Thanks Amanda

As a mom, we all know what kind of trouble dad could be in when left at home with the kids!

One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me. I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident. Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up. Then she says, (as only a mother would know... J) 'Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is thetoilet?'

Thanks for sharing that email Amanda... LOVED IT

My Climbin Cali

I know my mom and dad smile when I tell them what Cali was caught climing on. The girl is part human part monkey, FOR REAL! I am told I was a climber toooo. Okay so today I was in the kitchen doing dishes after lunch ( I know dishes, who me, never, yeah right!).... Edward needed help on his blog in the playroom so I left Cali playing on the frig with her magnets. I was gone less than one minute and I come back and not only is she on the kitchen table but she is grubbin watermelon like she didn't just have some at lunch! Since the camera is never out of arms reach I quickly have to grab and get some shots of this because she is just doing her own thing and lovin it. Plus, I need some physical proof to show Steve that I am not at all joking when he thinks I come up with stories just to have something to talk about hahahahhaha.

No one will ever know!!

Okay so maybe they will

I don't really care, this watermelon is sooo yummy

Steven gets a teeny lil break!

Does this look like the face of a 7th grader? EEEKKKKKKK
Yesterday was Stevens last day of 6th grade! We'll get his report card next week by mail but I already know he did just fine, thanks to powerschool hehe. Next week he has Middle school orientation Mon-Thurs from 7:45-12:15. He will be taking assessments to place him in the right classes. We are wondering how in the world we have a 7th grader already! Today we seriously had a lazy day! No driving around all day for me. We literally did nothing! Well that is not totally true, we did take Papa to airport. We kept cool inside most of the day and then went and did some playing in the evening when it cooled off some, if ya call 97 cool, LOL.

Target Lesions WTF

So with 4 kids we have been through just about any illness you could think of.... Or so we thought! Cali got the normal fever flu like symptoms. You know where they have a 104 fever, snotty nose, water butt, I don't want to eat anything kinda of couple of days. Yes the days where it is 95+ here and all my kid wants to do is cuddle UGH. It was way too hot for all that but being me well I put up with it of course. Who wouldn't right???? So we had a couple of days of not feeling well and then bam she was fine, back to her normal climb on everything, eat everything drive her mama nuts self! A couple days pass and she wakes up with a couple of red spots. I think humm heat rash? Maybe hives because you never know, she wants everything that everyone else is eating. I knew it wasn't Chicken Pox, looked nothing like that at all. So as the day progressed the bumps raised up a bit more, spread out like jelly and it was like one big red mark on her arms and legs only. So on it moved onto her belly and back of her legs. We were close to the weekend so I figured I better get her into the DR ro be sure it wasn't anything crazy. Last thing I wanted was for all the kids to get it. Go to the DR and of course I have to enter through rash room, wasn't my first time and I am sure it won't be the last. Target lesions is what the DR called it. Nothing I could do but wait it out. Could last up to 2 weeks or be gone by that evening, just one of those things that has to run its course. On a good note, we get to skip this months weight check because we just got it done while we were there! 17lbs 4 oz yahoooooo she is getting up there now.

Still smiling though, she looked funky but was acting just fine!!!!

Chocholate on Chocholate! Whats your fav Dessert Personality Test

If all of the desserts listed below were sitting in front of you, which
would you choose (sorry, you can only pick one!).
Now don't cheat on this one, go with the first dessert you choose !!!
Trust me....this is very accurate. OR SO THEY SAY!!!! Pick your dessert, and then look to see what
psychiatrists think about you.

1. Angel Food Cake
2. Brownies
3. Lemon Meringue Pie
4. Vanilla Cake With Chocolate Icing
5. Strawberry Short Cake
6. Chocolate on Chocolate (yes this would be my pick)
7. Ice Cream
8. Carrot Cake

1. ANGEL FOOD CAKE -- Sweet, loving, cuddly. You love all warm and fuzzy
items A little nutty at times. Sometimes you need an ice cream cone at
the end of the day. Others perceive you as being childlike and immature at
times.

2. BROWNIES - - You are adventurous, love new ideas, and are a champion of underdogs and a slayer of dragons. When tempers flare up you whip out your sabre. You are always the oddball with a unique sense of humor and direction. You tend to be very loyal.

3. LEMON MERINGUE -- Smooth, sexy, & articulate with your hands, you are an
excellent after-dinner speaker and a good teacher. But don't try to walk and chew gum at the same time. A bit of a diva at times, but you have many friends.

4. VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Fun-loving, sassy, humorous, not
very grounded in life; very indecisive and lack motivation. Everyone enjoys being around you, but you are a practical joker. Other's should be cautious in making you mad. However, you are a friend for life.

5. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE -- Romantic, warm, loving. You care about other people, can be counted on in a pinch an d expect the same in return. Intuitively keen. Can be very emotional.

6. CHOCOLATE ON CHOCOLATE -- Sexy; always ready to give and receive. Very creative, adventurous, ambitious, and passionate. You can appear to have a cold exterior but are warm on the inside. Not afraid to take chances. Will not settle for anything average in life. Love to laugh.

7. ICE CREAM -- You like sports, whether it be baseball, football, basketball, or soccer. If you could, you would like to participate, but you enjoy watching sports. You don't like to give up the remote control. You tend to be self-centered and high maintenance.

8. CARROT CAKE -- You are a very fun loving person, who likes to laugh. You
are fun to be with. People like to hang out with you. You are a very warm hearted person and a little quirky at times. You have many loyal friends.

A Sleep over with the Hogge girls before they head back to So Cal!

We coldn't be more excited to have a sleep over with the girls before they go home. Kylie next time I won't take no for an answer, you will stay too! Being sick didn't stop us! Maya~104 fever, Krista~coughing, Billie~101 fever/cough combo. The boys were not too happy with me when I sent them upstairs for bed because they both had school the next day. But anyways we played, we ate, we watched TV and we even got some sleep. Krista missed her mom and dad for a minute, there were a couple of tears but nothing we haven't seen before. Both Krista and Billie had a Bday in May so we had prezzies too. Somehow someway, Maya of course ended up with a new nightgown too, GO FIGURE!

Quick Review Bissel Steam Mop hard floor cleaner!

Saw this mop on Amazon and immediately ordered! No I didn't go to target, I had already been 4 times this week hehe. Just got it yesterday and since I knew it was coming, the kitchen floor was in desparate need.

Cali loves to throw her food on the floor. I take her out of the highchair and she likes to get under the highchair to sit and eat what she threw down there. Whatever!!!! I guess being the 4th she feels like she should save it so she might have something that no one else does, WHO KNOWS! Well and the other 3 for some reason seem to have holes in their bottom lips and don't always eat over their plates and or the table for that matter. Okay okay and then there is Steve and I hahhaha JK, I won't go there LOL!

So yes back to mommy's new gadget..... As soon as Cali went ni ni, I busted that thing open and put it together. Took all of 2 minutes and all I needed was a philips screwdriver. Told Steven, Edward and Maya to figure out what they would be doing because they will not be walking on the kitchen floor for at least 30 minutes. Seriously 30 minutes without access to the kitchen is a long time for them. Filled up the tank (which is small) with water and plugged it in. OMG it was ready to go in under 30 seconds wooo hoooooo. and....here comes Maya, mommy can I do it? No way were the words out of my mouth! I was way too excited to even let someone else do the cleaning (or maybe too anal)!!! I know I should of taken advantage and let her do it but I wanted to do it. Once the newness wears off, I am sure I will be happy to let her do it, question is??? Will she still want to? Okay so I keep getting sidetracked! This thing ROCKS! How I did not find it sooner is beyond me. No chemicals! Water only! and... drum roll..........No hands and knees scrubbing. It got all the funky gunk up. I definately had to hold that steam for 10-15 seconds in a few places but then voila CLEAN. Oh and guess what the microfiber pads that you use are machine washable, it came with 2!!! Swivels too so corners and hard to reach places, I got em covered. The only thing they could of done better was a longer cord but hey we all have extension cords, right? I even had to call Steve who was still at work to tell him how awesome this thing is. Oh and mom and dad got a call too.

The Hogges are in town for a visit =)

Since the CHP took our family to So Cal in December of 07, we have missed our cousins so much. Yes of course we miss Auntie and Uncle too. The big difference in their visit here from when we went to Chino Hills in April is having to share them! I had to explain to the kids that when we went there, it was to visit with them and only them, but when they come here they have to squeeze in all their friends and fam in a short week. We did get to spend some good quality time with them which totally rocked! Tonight we did Chuck E Cheese. It has literally been forever since we have been there and everyone had fun.
