All of the kids were dinky but it took Cali the longest to hit that 20lb mark! We have been doing monthly weight checks since she was like 4 months or something like that! New DR, so yeah she dididn't know my kids and had the worry factor going on. She now realizes that my kids are just petite! Cali had her 18 month check up on Friday and she weighed in at a whopping 20lbs 1 oz! Yes she was fully clothed and got to stand on the big girl scale too! She is on the charts for weight again. So what if it is the 2%tile she is still there hahahahha. We did strip her down naked also and she was just under 20 but at 18 months they do the dressed weight so that is what is written down for her official weight! She was up there in height in the 70%tilr and her head was about 50%tile! Go Cali woo hooo BIG GIRL! hated her shots but what kid doesn't! All in all we had a great appt and we now get bumped to 3 month weight checks, so that is only one time between now and her 2 year. YIKES 2 year I won't even go there!

Splish Splash with the girls

Mel inspired me to get some cute bath time pics! I used to have the cutest pics of the boys playing in the tub but not so many of the girls. They aren't non existant but not nearly what i used to take of the boys. Our life is so busy that I usually just take the girls in the shower with me and knock us all out in one shot! I know you thought you were gonna get to see me naked in the shower with the girls but its really only My My and Cali! hahahahahah So sorry to disappoint *winks* They had so much fun, and were in there til they were all wrinkled, I bribed them to get out. There is never anything they won't do for strawberries and whipped cream.

Happy Birthday Eddie!
The only good thing about having to go to school on your birthday is moms chocolate cupcakes w/chocolate frosting and sprinkles!! It was kinda of funny because one of the little boys in his class asked me if I made the cupcakes all by myself. When I told him yes he asked me "can you make cupcakes for my birthday too"! So sweet! I am still in awe that my lil man is 9. Yikes! Time goes buy so fast. Seriously I can go over the night I went into labor with complete detail like it was yesterday and here he is in 4th grade talking about what college he wants to go to. He mentioned to Steve that when he is 19 we'll only be 44 and that is pretty young for parents with 2 college kids! I mean hello, is it okay for my Eddie to already have a college picked out!!! We are so proud of him and all he does. His grades are outstanding, he is all over that football field, I mean c'mon this is Ed we are talking about he doesn't stop for a minute. His body is just as active as his brain and how he keeps up with himself we still aren't all that sure heheh! Happy Birthday Eddie, we love you so very much and we will never ever forget your beautiful face! Hope you enjoyed your special dinner last night (Auntie Tria, you would have loved dinner! Ed loves his ribs just like you) and your uber yummy dessert. and WOW! a new bike too, you lucky boy! Happy Birthday!!

Game #3 Foothill Mustangs vs. Highland Scotts
Is it Saturday again already? You know it is! We were so excited because we were going to be playing on our home field which is so bad ass and all the grandparents would be here to watch! Well the grandparents were all here but we had to move our game to another field at the last minute grrrrrrrrr. and the Field we played on was grass again, POOR STEVIE!
Daddy was bummed because we had a car show scheduled in Pleasanton and he had to leave before Edwards game was even over. It was sad to see him go because I could tell how badly he wanted to stay!
Papa Gonzalez and I were really excited to have more grandparent reinforcements with the girls hehehe. I will be hatin next week because I will be on my own. Yes we all know I can do it but its so nice to have back up and now I am used to it! have fun next weekend Papa you will def be missed =(
Okay so on to the games, Edwards team lost again, boo hoo. Edward looked pretty tired out there to me but he still lead his team like always. A few of his teamates really had a great game. Oh and yes after the game Eddie informed me that he was a hero yet again!! =)
Stevens team literally spanked Highlands, I kept thinking to myself it is just time to end this game. There really should be a shut out rule. They won 58-0 and that is not including 2 touchdowns that were taken away due to excessive celebration. Not that we needed the points and geez why can't the boys be excited about their touchdowns right? Steven was totally hyped because he was chosen as a team captain for the game, poor daddy wasn't there to see it. I called him right away to tell him though and we kept him informed of the butt spanking that Highlands took.
Thank you Grandma and Papa Salvi, Grandma Dee Dee and Papa Tony for coming out to see the boys play, it meant a lot to all of us. Thanks again Papa Gonzalez for all your help at all of their games... Well ALMOST all hahahhaha
We were thankful for a break in the weather this week too, it was a beautiful day for some football!
The boys also had their welcome dance that mom had to miss (so no pics) since daddy was gone, but thanks to Papa Gonzalez they still got to go because Papa was so nice to go and pick them up when it was over.

Broken Modem!
Crazy how much I take advantage of my modem because when the thing decides to take a shit on me I am at a loss. So I ordered a new gateway through ATT and it takes a whole 3-5 business days to get here UGH! But hey they were having a promotion and the gateway was free when I upgraded my DSL. Okay so I will be paying $5 more a month for a teeny bit faster (who doesn't love a little bit faster right)??? But free gateway and $100 mail in rebate so woo hooo. I have a ton of updataing to do once I get back up.

Game #2 our week still going...........

Our days are def consumed with the kids and we love it! Saturdays are long and we wouldn't have it any other way. Football all day!~ The girls are doing well too. Mom packs the best snacks ever and well Papa buys them the really yummy stuff at the snack bar.. SPOILED! and when they are tired they curl up somewhere on the bleachers and take a nap. papa and I really enjoy that time hahah! If only we could plan it so they both sleep at the same time! We'll get it figured out and the season will be over! SOOO anyways game 2 in Woodland! Both of the boys team lost again but both of them did GREAT! Ed was a hero and I am sure some of you will get that! Either because you have talked to us and heard the story or just because you know FOOTBALL! LOL! It was tough on Steven because Woodland has a grass field, we have gotton used to astro turf and the grass was not good on the allergies at all! Especially since he was the water boy for other teams and just out on that grass all day long.
Oh and they now have home and away jerseys so Maya and I are pretty stoked because we have something to wear! I am on my way to Michaels this week to grab some puffy paints to make Cali some Mustang Gear! Wow brings back memories of those cheerleading days way back when WHOA!

Game Day!
I am still not completely sure who was more excited about the first game, the boys or daddy! WOW! What a fun day. Both of the boys teams lost but watching them out there was made us so proud. They did so well. Edward is the Qback and the safety. He really leads his team. How cute was he running for a touchdown? SOOOOOO cute! Steven played tight end, safety and a few other positions too. Also did GREAT! he got a kick return and even ran a few yards. Both of the boys took a few good hits which I think was worse for me than it was for them but I made it and can't wait til next week! If only you could hear me in the stands. Oh wait most of you know exactly what I sound like at a football game. Well lemme tell you the cheerleader in me def came out loud and clear. I even scared Cali a few times hahahahahha. I was so one of those annoying moms hollering from the stands, oh and doing the cheers with the cheerleaders.....
Oh and we finally found something to get Steve away from the shop with! GO MUSTANGS
I am very so so lucky to have Papa here in Sac. he comes out to th egames and is such a big help with the girls. It is an all day thing. Our Saturdays are spent at the field from about 9ish til about 6ish. We lug out the EZ Up, snacks, water and whatever we can sneak in and just have a good time! Cali will gotil she crashes on my lap and she will sleep right through my loud mouth too. Maya enjoys playing with all the other girls there and eating yummy snacks and always has to go pee right when one of the boys games starts =)
Edward is #12
Steven is #34

Hair... Hair.... and more Hair
I think at this age all of my kids had crazy enough hair. well the boys was shaved off by this time but they too had nutty hair their first year. Cali is following in Maya and Gma Dee Dee's footsteps with straight up afro puff. We have so much to do in the am that I usually don't do her hair til everyone is dropped off. This was one of those mornings, you know the kind where it is just everywhere! She did have a bath last night too but oh well what can ya do!

Happy Birthday Daddy!
We kinda started celebrating Steves Bday over the weekend! I know, our family seems to think that birthdays are at least 3 days long! We can't help it. Plus on the actual day, we knew there would be football practice. So thah being said we started on Sat. Papa Gonzalez watch the kids, yes all of them and yes all night YIPPEEE!!! We just did dinner and hung out. Then sunday came around and we had Papa over for dinner and dessert. Then Monday/Labor Day/ still the day before Steves birthday and being the wonderful person I am I sent him to get a deep tissue massage! Yay him, I am jealous LOL! Finally the birthday day gets here and well back to work and football and all of our regular daily schedules. We love ya tons and we'll never forget your beautiful face
