Sooooooo Ready

Seems like a good day to take the training wheels off of Mayas bike. the boys and Steve are off at a car show and Cali is asleep. I think... Is she ready? Of course SHE IS! I think, am I ready? Of course NOT. Ready for her to learn to ride a bike, totally. Ready to take the training wheels off and hope she catches on and I don't have to put those suckers back on. HUMMM still thinking. Well I did it anyway. She was so excited, we got her helmet on, took the training wheels off and headed out to go for it. GRRRRRRR Her tires are flat, not one but both. Okay so not quite ready yet. No I didn't notice when I took the training wheels off, I wasn't looking at the tires. Okay no big deal, grab the pump and put some air in, right?. HAHA Obviously you don't have 4 kids. If its not lost, its broken! So yeah, the pump is in the garage but its broken. I guess they think that if I see it where it belongs I won't realize its broken ! I thought she would just be discouraged but NO, not Maya she runs to the neighbors and asks to borrow their pump. Brian, our neighbor comes out and pumps up her tires, and realigns everything and we are finally ready to go, (good thing Cali takes long naps)! I am so proud of her. I hold on to that seat and we start going. She is pedaling so fast, WOW she didn't notice me let go. She is still going too. That was it, within 15 minutes she was riding that bike like she has been for years. She did finally fall, she got mad and walked the bike back to the garage and yelled at me like it was my fault.

Goood job Maya-Maya,papa is proud of you!!
