I am not supposed to

think about everyone while I am gone....... Yeah right! I miss Steve, Steven, Edward, and Maya so much its insane. How freaking sad is that? I have been gone 24 hours and I keep wondering if they made it to school on time. If they dressed warm enough. What they ate. If they finished their homeowork. If they miss me half as much as I miss them. Crazy Crazy Crazy! I know I am pathetic but what can I say?????

I am, however, greatful to get a lil getaway. When Cali and I arrived here in Redding on Sunday it was snowing and absolutely beautiful. I got a great workout with Grandma Dee Dee today while Cali was napping and am getting a facial tomorrow YIPPEE! Cali loves the snow and can't get enough of the horsies.... She won't let us forget that it is time to feed the horsies and the cows MOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thank you baby for giving me this time, its been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks. Thank you Papa Gonzalez for helping out with drop offs and picks up and everything in between.

Monday Night Football Gone Wild!

I have no idea why I never posted this! I just found the draft and realized I never published. This was one of those crazy nights at our house, I KNOW its crazy at my house every night but this night was just a little bit more than the norm. Okay okay I know we are no where near normal hahahah but thats why you all love us so much. It was a Monday night and we had papa over for MNF because the kids were gonna be leaving to go to Gma Dee Dee's for a few days and let me tell you everyone was in rare form. Just be happy you were not here to actually see and hear the craziness........

Another one for the Honor Roll

Thats right! You know I have the smartest kids EVER heheh okay so I am biased but yeah whatever i have the report cards to prove it! Maya has now joined the Honor Roll Club! First trimester of Kindergarten and she made the honor roll and received a citizenship award . Go My My! The awards assembly was right smack dab in the middle of Cali's nap but guess what???? I still got pictures. Cali tossed over my shoulder asleep and camera in hand the proud mama made her way to that assembly proud as ever! I tried to hide my tears of joy but I was caught by another mom. She also has multiple kids. she too was crying hahahahah. We could relate...... You would of thought we were at our first awards assembly for our first child or something LOL!

Sucks to be SICK!

We made it 20 months without any real problems with Cali's health. But low and behold it hit and it hit hard. Our poor lil baby was running a fever of almost 105. She was miserable and everyone else enjoyed her cuddliness. She has never had any kind of meds so when I tried to give her Motrin..... she wasn't havin it AT ALL! She gagged and puked it up in true drama style. She has been relaxin on the couch in and out of sleep for 2 days. She is back up and trying to run around today but still kinda slow as her fever is still about 102.5. Here is a couple pics of my pathetic lil munchkin butt not feeling well!

Hogge Visit

The Hoggies were here for a quick visit over Thanksgiving Break! We got to celebrate Bre's 9th Bday with them and the kids are really looking forward to getting their cousins back in Nor Cal! On Tuesday Dusty and Mel brought the girls over to hang out with Papa and Cali. Cali loved having someone to play with while mom was at the shop. Papa said she did good sharing her toys and her papa YAY!

Safe... But we got a lil worried!

Dusty, Mel and the girls are all safe and sound but that fire got too close to them for all of our comfort! They are in Chino Hills and as you will see from the pics it was right behind them. They did have to evacuate early Sun am for a while but are back home safe and sound. So they have been in So Cal for less than a year and have experienced an earthquake and now the fire. Oh how we look forward to Dec when they come home!

OMG could I have the worst 4th folder 4th picture? You won't even know what it is!!

Long story short. Water invading the backyard coming up through the cracks. Where is that main to shut off the water anyways? Well duh under a 50 year old tree. Sac city suburban had to come out and remove our huge beautiful source of shade (after they figured out that was where the main was) and this is part of the hole where that tree used to be. Our backyard is still not recovered grrrrrrr!!! So there ya have it!!

Halloween

Halloween was just not the same this year. We had one key ingredient missing~ Steven being the cool 12 year old he is went to a party with friends instead of trick or treating with his uber cool family BOO HOO =( That was a little tough for mom but it didn't stop us from painting the town with our other 3 fabulous children dressed to impress! Fo sho baby..... As for costumes,
Steven was a dread head jamaican dude or something of the sort. Well he had the wig at least!
Edward was a zombie DR, made me a little nervous because it was a scary costume. I thought for sure the girls were gonna freak. They didn't so woo hoooo.
Maya was a princess, go figure huh? She chose to be Aurora from Sleeping Beauty! Cali still doesn't get to choose so mom chose for her. I have wanted Maya to be a devil for a few years now and she has refused (at least one of us knows the truth about her hahahah)! So since I can still have a say in the matter Cali was a Devil Princess. Not only did I get to choose the costume but I made it for her to. I wasn't thrilled with the costumes out there to buy so I dug into my creative crafty side and made the costume myself. Oh and guess what the body suit that I decked out with rhinestones was on sale for 2.99 so go Target! The tulle for the tutu well...... under $4 at Walmart. pair of hand me down black tights from Maya and the cutest red glitter shoes. Trust me you have all seen them at Target! Steve and I took Ed, My and Cali out trick or treating and we made it back home before the rain hit!

Al and Julie just found out they are having a girl. Miles will be a big brother to a sweet sister. I am looking forward to March. 2 new babies... Both girls! baby girl Salvi is due right around Cali's bday so who knows????? She might get to share her bday with her very special cousin. We can't wait to meet her

Zane: Auntie??
Me: Hi honey do you have some news for me?
Zane: News?? NO I don't
Me: Do you know if you are going to have a brother or a sister yet?
Zane: Yes! Auntie we are having a girl
Me: woo hooo yay yippee and all kinds of other excitements
Me: Tell mommmy I have some stuff for her

Me: well the car seat I mentioned the other day

Me: Ohhhh yes her name (not bringing up the car seat again to confuse him)

October so far OMG where to begin?????

I cannot believe that October is just about over. I don't think I have even taken my camera out of the car because that is where we live. Seriously home to school, school to practice, practice to home. Eat, sleep (well most of the family anyways) and back up again the next day to do it all over again! Could it get any better than this? No way we love every minute of every busy day we have with our amazing kids! We even love the days that we don't totally like our kids, don't hate because I am mom enough to admit that there are times I don't always like my kids! LMAO.

So the week that school started was the week that football began. Now football ended and we started our 3 week intersession YAY! On the plus side no one has to attend intersession either so we don't have to be out the door at 7am for 3 whole weeks. That is heaven right there!

Daddy made it home early one evening and decorated the gingerbread haunted house with the kids. and no it didn't really get completed but they had fun. Edward wasn't really interested, I think he may have been outside riding his bike. Maya was so down and could of went on all night. Steven was happy to come in and make a mess and Cali well eating is much more important then Halloween, at least this year anyway!!








A couple of these football games are going to be combined right here... One was too cold for me to take too many pics. My ass was curled up in Papas blanket drinking hot chocholate. I got a few pics but mainly of the girls all dressed up like it was winter in Tahoe not October in Sac!! Another one I am sure I was either way too busy snacking on the yummy treats I always pack for the girls to keep them busy or screaming my head off like the crazy mom I am telling those damn kids that they better block my Eddie a lot better than they are!! Oh and one of them was just heart wrenching. It was Stevens game and OMG I couldn't sit down. This was THE GAME, they win they go to playoffs, they lose they don't. It was an unbelieveable game and they ended up losing in OT. I have never seen so many 12 and 13 year olds cry in my life. TOUGH GUYS huh??? WHATEVA

If I forget to close my closet door, I am so screwed! cali gets in there and takes out every shoe in there. Like she doesn't have 5 billion of her own she has to mess with mine. After she takes them all out she chooses a pair to wear, always a pair of heels. today the camera was actually in the house and so I got a few pics of her modeling my shoes for me.




Mays first field trip was to Fog Willows Pumpkin Patch. We had so much fun. I have never been there so it was all new to me too. I brought Cali to my mom and dads for a few days so I could have some quality time with Maya on her field trip and with Edward on his which was the very next day! and knock out some of those parent hours! The charter school the kids go to requires 40 hours per year of parent volunteer hours. Ha like that isn't easy to to do. I literally laugh when a parent complains. It the end of the 1st trimester and my parent hours are done. Lucky me to be able to participate so much! Am I bragging? Hell yeah I do have that right, NO?

and the next day................ Edwards field trip. 2 more places I have never been! Can ya tell I didn't grow up in Sac? 1st was the State Indian Museum. I wish we would have had more time here because the place was totally bomb diggety. It also would have been nice if the woman working there wasn't a complete and total B****! During lunch out on th egrass right outside of the place i actually called and complained about her hahaha. Thats what she gets, I mean c'mon lady this is your job either enjoy it or get a new one! It also would have been great to be able to take pics inside but that was a no can do. After lunch we walked on over to Sutters Fort. The kids loved it but went though so fast, we had so much time to spare after we were done. They just wanted to look at everything. Pressing a button and listening was apparently too much learning in one field trip for 4th graders.

After the last football game there was the homecoming dance. Steve took the boys and Maya and I stayed home with Cali to give her some special time since she had been gone for a few days with Gma and Papa Salvi. Okay we didn't much but go to bed! I was woken up to some major excitement when they got home from the dance. Edward Mister bad ass himself comes waltzing in with an uber cool crown and sash! He was voted Prince of the Jr Pee Wee team. Pretty cool stuff dontcha think?

So we had one cold day in October so far! It has been beautiful during the day and just a teeny chilly at night. The other day the kids were spoiled yet again when Papa Gonzalez took them for ice cream! YUMMY Steven and edward both had double scoops. that was Stevens you saw on the ground. Maya actually shared hers with mommy. Cali had mint chip and well who says you have to share when you are a year and half???

Papa decided to take the kids to the Pumpkin Patch. I told Steven to take the camera and take some pictures. The pumpkin patch outing did not last that long. The kids love their papa just as much as their mom and dad. Try and do something nice for them and they act like a bunch of jerks! Sorry papa =( but there were a few decent pics. I think Papa was pretty brave taking 4 kids to the pumpkin patch, that is usually something only a mom can and will do LOL
